I studied film and art under the supervision of Angela Schanelec and Wim Wenders at the Academy of fine arts Hamburg. During my studies I shot my own films and worked for rentals and as a camera assistant.

In recent years, I have worked as a cinematographer and cooperated with artists of different kinds. 

Visual storytelling became increasingly important. So in order to properly learn the craft I specialised in cinematography at Hamburg Media School with Judith Kaufmann and Achim Poulheim as mentors.
